THE GRAMMAR TRANSLATION METHOD

 

CONCEPT

As the name said this method lies in translate. It’s a traditional methodology but we can see it even today. The students must to learn grammar rules to be able to translate many sentences from a long text. 

ADVANTAGES

• students learn grammatical rules and then apply those rules by translating sentences between the target language and the native language.

DISADVANTAGES

• It's pretty obvious that the main disadventage is that i't's not interactive and innovative way to learn. The students can get boring easily.
